Hello and welcome to my blog. It’s full of things I do, things I see and things I make. I’ve been working as a designer and art director on magazines for over ten years – an eclectic bunch: from Hobbies to high fashion, tabloids to trade magazines. Currently when not designing books (see below) I am creative director of Marie Claire’s biannual fashion magazine Runway. Over the past couple of years I’ve been able to combine my passion for making things with my ‘day job’ by designing and co-authoring the best selling craft book Everything Alice with my partner-in-craft Hannah Read-Baldrey. Our second book Everything Oz has just been released and we have lots more exciting projects in the pipeline – many of which I’ll be sharing with you here

I bought everything Oz for my daughter for Christmas (big hit, thank you). We want to make ruby slippers but where did you get the 2.5mm sequin trim from? I’ve looked everywhere!
